Why Simpler is Sweeter

...Simpler is Sweeter.... I love writing about my passions, what interest me, what interests others, and sharing all of my thoughts with my friends.

I have been in love with all things southern, preppy and laidback. I am a very quiet and “beige” person, so this is going to be my attempt to stand out in some way to the world. So here's a little bit about me: I am currently a junior in college studying cellular and molecular biology and I am minoring in psychology. I have an amazing boyfriend, Dylan, with whom I love endlessly. I have 2 adorable Guinea Pigs or as I refer to them as "the pigs" named John and Casper. I have 2 cats, OD and Greyson and then my adopted dog babies Beau and Bella (I say adopted because they are Dylan's dogs). My two weird but interesting obsessions are cacti and corgis. If you don't believe me, Dylan gave me a Corgi butt pillow for Christmas and if that doesn't say weird obsession I don't know what does. 

In the past 6 months I have really gotten into reading and looking at other peoples blogs, YouTube channels, etc. and that it what got me thinking that I would like to express myself in some other way. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a love for shopping and finding the best deals. I have continued to stay true to my younger me and always shop til I drop! This is probably not the best idea considering I am in college but I have learned, over the years, that keeping that little girl’s fire alive inside me is necessary for me to be the best me I can be. I hope some of y’all can relate or just simply enjoy this blog!

Simpler is sweeter to me because as I blend into the world, I have noticed that when things slow down, life gets sweeter. We all love those moments when you get to just take it all in and enjoy the beauty that life has to offer. Simpler is Sweeter is truly my own passion project, gaining more and more traction each day.
